An educational film series that covers the story of several courageous community leaders in Timiskaming, Saskatchewan and other First Nation territories, as they battle various epidemics and addictions. Directed by Merv Thomas and produced by the Canadian Aboriginal AIDS Network.

MERMAID ISLAND

Adventurous teens visit an island with a murky, haunted past. Mermaid Island is set to release this year with distribution by Reality Films and Chemical Burn Entertainment. Written and directed by Jason Mills.

 

BIG FOOT COUNTRY

A camping trip goes wrong when a group of friends get lost in the woods. Big Foot Country is set to release this year with distribution by Reality Films and Chemical Burn Entertainment. Written and directed by Jason Mills.

 

ALONE WE ARE NOT

A couple is plagued by a gang of psychopaths in the midst of a bizarre visitation of an unidentified species. AWAN is set to release this year with distribution by Reality Films and Chemical Burn Entertainment. Written and directed by Jason Mills.

Phosphenes

Phosphenes (MEXICO 2016) won 'Best Drama Short Film,' and the main prize 'Golden Monarch' in the FICMO Festival, Ottawa Canada 2016. Phosphenes was notably absent of dialogue, relying solely on music and image. The film was screened at dozens of international festivals, received much praise.

promising practices in INDIGENOUS communities in SASKATCHEWAn  

Produced by the Canadian Aboriginal AIDS Network, 'Promising Practices' (CANADA 2016) was screened in early 2016 at the International AIDS Conference in Durban, South Africa. The film was screened across Canada and is now used as an educational video within a growing series.

COLOURS OF EDZIZA

Colours of Edziza (CANADA 2015) won the Award of Merit for 'notable artistic and technical productions' from the international Best Shorts Film Competition in California, and screened as a Finalist in the Vancouver International Film Festival, and a dozen other international film festivals.
